  • It is TV post production. Many clips and shots are taken, retaken and used where needed. I does not mean it never happened. Besides, Hammond does not need any encouragement to crash a car. He does it pretty well on his own. And relatively safely thank God.

  • If you're going to introduce a new concept super car on The Grand Tour, then there's no better way to go about it than by ending with a spectacular crash. The Rimac will now become legendary in the annals of The Grand Tour history. Something the manufacturers won't be too unhappy about I suspect. I'm glad nevertheless that nobody was badly hurt in the making of this episode. But Hamster, perhaps you should get some race training in before you go hammer and tongs once again huh!!? And Oh yeah - don't listen to your mates!! especially those two Muppets.
