Xbox Release A Limited Edition Controller Inspired By The Porsche 911 GT2RS!
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS recently set a new lap record at the Nurburgring, instantly putting it in the history books. Achieving a time of 6:47.3 seconds around the 'Ring, the record sets the GT2 RS as the fastest production car around the track, averaging a speed of 114.4MPH. Powered by a 3.8L flat six engine, the car puts out 690BHP. This gives the GT2 RS a 0-60MPH time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 210MPH.
To help celebrate, Xbox are releasing a limited edition Xbox One controller inspired by the GT2 RS. Porsche have worked with SCUF Gaming and Turn 10 Studios to bring us this controller, all in time for the release of Forza Motorsport 7, which features the new Porsche.
The controller is silver with black and red highlights, which is supposed to look like the interior of the car. The bottom of the controller also features hand stitched Alcantara. Being released on 7th October, just 2500 units will be made. 2000 of these will be sold for $299.95, with the remaining 500 units will be sold as part of a bundle, costing a total of $365.95.
