Yeah so I went online car-shopping

And I found some bargains....really take a look there's a legend in there.

I've seen it done. I've done it before myself, but obviously not well enough because my mother got a Qashqai+2 in the end. I kind of enjoyed it. So I've given it another bash, only this time I wasn't restricted to seven seater 8 year old cars. I'll be driving soon myself, probably within the next two years if things go well, so considering this, there's no harm looking for some first car bargains...... Here's what I found, what do you think?

Right, considering I will be scraping funds from anywhere, we will have to keep things.....good value.....so I firstly decided to hit up Mercedes and Jaguar......cuz I am very modest. And turns out it wasn't a bad move. Am I missing something or is that some real good value right there.

Yes there's a wagon in that gallery....but I'd be getting the saloon of course. The wagon is for you guys🤭. Oh hold on I've just realised how far they've all gone.......oh my god I'm not deleting the article at this point oh well whatever.

Oh I also saw a little RX-8 which I thought was pretty cool for what your paying:

Now ik you'd be paying 2.3k for a 2 seater from 2004, but it seems alright to me.

Oh yeah and I found this Jimny which was cheap as chips, so i figured I'd include it because it seems really practical and useful. So a good idea for a first car maybe?

Ye see maybe if I considered the miles before writing this I wouldn't have wasted so much time.

And then I found the ultimate dream car for less than 1k!!!!!!! I wanted it immediately.

400 QUID! That's a snatch! And for a Betsy!!!!!!

Then I realised I really wasn't doing very well so I went and found two amazing astons for just 30k......these I feel were actual good finds, until again I read the mileage:

Oh no wait they aren't too bad. Ok so I've now messed this whole thing up so badly that I'm gonna post it and go cry for wasting an hour of my life on a post which could've been prevented had I have read some numbers to learn that my bargain cars weren't in fact bargains. Well the Astons are I think, so there's something. Sorry for wasting your time not that any of you actually read all of this anyway. Thanks for reading, only again do any of you actually read it? Idk bye I guess (outro lvl 100).

  • When i was looking for my first car i had only two things in my mind.

    1. IT HAS TO BE MANUAL(SALOON OR HATCHBACK)

    2. MUST NOT COST MORE THAN $2000.

i was not worried about brand or model because i was only gonna keep it for 1 year and try learning all kind of skills like heel and toe, powersliding😅, doing donuts etc, without breaking the car and i performed all these activities to.......medium..ish...level😁. My first car was Acura tl. It was a good car, i only had to replace the battery and i drove it for a full year without any other problems at all.

    • yes i will be considering these myself, thank you. Although maybe the scrap the donuts and powersliding part im not for all that too much🤣🤣🤣

  • One serious thing to consider is insurance. I will say a Jaguar X-type is a good choice considering that. A 2.5 litre AWD (rear bias) petrol manual X-type can have insurance for like £1000 (although i think that was for me when i was 18 or 19)
