A couple of days ago, Consumer reports came out with their annual reliability survey for 2019, and where some companies are holding their heads low in shame, others are quite surpised and quite ecstatic.
Big news from this survey is that Dodge, my favorite of all brands, is ranked eighth out of 30 brands selling here in the US. Although Japan rounds off the top 3 with Lexus, Mazda, and Toyota, the American muscle and punch-you-in-the-face car company has gone up a solid 13 places since last year.

The family truckster known as the Durango was rated as their most unreliable model, and the Challenger holding tight as the most reliable.
Most surpising in not that Dodge ranked so high, but that they ranked over so many companies that should have done better. Companies like Mercedes, Ford, and BMW are all far behind the American brute. As is Audi, which went down a total 7 places, basically falling down into oblivion.
All in all, if you are of any sorts a Dodge fan or just love SUVs that can't hold onto their tires, good news, because now you can actually own one. Trouble free!
