You can now configure a Porsche 718 Spyder and Cayman GT4
Finally, my favourite part of a new car release is here and I couldn't be happier. You have to admit, we've all done it. Every time a new car comes out, we have to spec it on the company website to exactly how we would have it or to make the most expensive one possible. I did it with the Speedster, 488 Pista, Aventador S etc.
This time, it is the turn of both the new 718 Cayman GT4 and its topless sibling the 718 Spyder, both cars I have been very excited about. Now I got the chance to configure them. There aren't as many colour options as I would have liked but that didn't stop me making them as close to what I wanted as possible. The GT4 is finished in Miami Blue as I felt it had to be a stand out colour but yellow had been done to death by Porsche already. This of course, has matching brake calipers, seatbelts and stitching.
As for the Spyder, I have gone for a slightly more relaxed tone with GT Silver paint, black wheels and red accents rather than yellow. Unfortunately, I can't see myself ever buying one of these so doing this is the closest I'm going to get. The end price for the Spyder was around £85,000 and the GT4 was around £95,000. A lot of money but well worth it.
