You can now own Kimi Raikkonen's modified Audi RS6

2w ago

If you are familiar with the World Rally Championship or Formula One, you would have almost certainly heard of Kimi Raikkonen, who won the F1 World Championship with Ferrari in 2007.

The "Iceman" is a highly talented driver – and one with an admirable taste in cars. Considering he owns a Ferrari Enzo, it is safe to assume that his 2014 Audi RS6 Avant – which is now up for sale – has been treated with the same degree of care.

What modifications have been made?

We first need to get an idea of the performance the original car possessed. The 2014 RS6 Avant used a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 to produce 552hp and 516lb-ft (700Nm) of torque from factory, which when combined with AWD allowed for it to accelerate to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds.

Raikkonen's car features a BSR Tuning chip, enabling it to produce a whopping 680hp and 663lb-ft (900Nm) of torque. The 0-62mph time is unknown but based on other modified RS6s, do expect it to be sub 3.0 seconds. Should you consider purchasing the vehicle, note that the tuning chip is claimed to be easily removable. The only other major modification is the addition of 22-inch Vossen wheels, which may or may not be to your taste.

What are the listing details?

The vehicle is listed for sale with 69,000km (42,874 miles) on the odometer at a price tag of 125,000€ ($138,872 USD or £107,770).

It does sound like an astronomical valuation at first but it sits at a fair price in Finland, a country with a relatively higher road tax when compared to the rest of Europe. For perspective, the price of other RS6 Avants across Europe with similar milage from the same year are priced at almost half of that.

The listing claims the car was valued at 228,000€ with its modifications when sold to Raikkonen – he is not the first owner of the vehicle and it was owned by two other individuals before him.

Where do I purchase this superwagon?

The listing can be found on NettiAuto, which is Finland's go-to car classifieds website. The car is currently stored in the town Kotka within Kymenlaakso, should you live nearby and wish to inspect the RS6 prior to purchase. The advertisement is in Finnish, meaning you may need to translate most of the information.

Would you buy Räikkönen's RS6 Avant?
