The Ford Mustang Mach-E is a car that's divided a lot of opinion ever since its arrival. A lot of purists hate it and for obvious reasons (a Mustang that's an SUV and electric? Sacrilege!). It's not going to be going away though no matter how much the Mustang devotees complain and now you can pre-order one online!

If you want a First Edition model, you might have a hard time getting your hands on one - they've all sold out, at least in the US! The other versions though, including the GT version and the California Route One specification, are still up for grabs. The Mach-E starts at $43,985 for the RWD base model and goes all the way up to a base price of $60,500 for the AWD GT. If those prices seem sky high to you, don't worry - if you're a buyer in the US, you can gain the full $7,500 Federal Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Tax Credit. If it's able to be applied, this drops the price of the base model all the way down to $36,395!

If you live in the US and want to reserve a Mustang Mach-E, you can go here. You can also go here if you're a UK customer and want to pre-order your Mach-E. The first US models are projected to arrive in late 2020, with RHD UK models arriving in 2021. If you're a real performance junkie though, you might want to hold out until the heavily rumoured Shelby model gets announced...

  • This abomination is a blasphemous mockery to the Mustang name. It’s food blender is hardly and excuse for an engine let alone a thumping great V8. Ford should be ashamed of themselves and of the vulgar nasty, retina burning, vomit inducing, pile of scummy failure and misery on four wheels that they have slapped together with the puke of onlookers and the praise of Greta Tunburg. Honestly what is happening in our world that THIS, is called a “Mustang”

  • No; I can't. If I were ordering a Mustang it would be one of the Front Engine RWD Petrol powered 2 door cars. Not some crossover thing.
