You can now recreate the Killdozer in Lego form
If you were around in 2004 or have spent some time on the internet, you would have remembered something called the Killdozer. The Killdozer was created by Marvin Heemeyer, who was upset about a zoning dispute in Granby, Colorado.
I'm not going to re-write the Wikipedia account but basically, the Killdozer was created over the span of 18 months and was used to destroy a total of 13 buildings, resulting in damages of over $7 million.
On a lighter note, you can now have your very own replica of the Killdozer by making one out of Lego. The build isn't an official Lego kit but you can build it using the instructions over on bricklink.com.
The build consists of 151 pieces and can be built over a span of 62 steps. Needless to say, the Lego Killdozer will not take 18 months to build. In reality, it should take you less than an hour.
In conclusion, we're not entirely sure why this exists but we're glad that it does.
