You can turn your Mercedes E-Class into a Maybach for $1,500

This is the ultimate diy kit

This is a $1,500 bodykit you can buy from AliBaba and I’m happy to file this under the ‘answer to a question no one was asking’ category. It‘s essentially a diy kit to turn your ‘standard‘ Mercedes E-Class L into a Maybach S-Class.

It’s designed for the E-Class L, the extended wheelbase version specifically created for the Chinese and Indian market. Even with the bodykit, your E-Class would still be nearly 50 cm shorter than the Maybach S-Class, but then again it would also be around $140,000 cheaper.

The package includes chrome intake surrounds, a larger grille with a Maybach emblems, decorative exhaust pipes and a Maybach-specific rear bumper. It’s compatible with both the MY 2016 and the MY 2020 E-Class.

Somebody spotted a vehicle equipped this exact bodykit at a gas station in Faridabad in India but the owner of the E-Class in question definitely went the extra mile with a Maybach-style two-tone paint, Maybach-specific wheels and V12 badges.

  • I saw an e class with that recently. I almost had to throw up. What kind of a sad person must one be to feel that an E class isn’t cool enough. Seriously pathetic.

    • The only E-class's that I like are the ones from the '90s and pre-2008. I would do that because It actually looks nice.
