A wise man once said that depreciation reveals all things, and a lot can be revealed when talking about this 2007 BMW M6 with 201,000 miles. This car came with an MSRP of $98,000 twelve short years ago, meaning it has lost an astonishing 91% of its original value.
So what do you get for your heavily discounted BMW? Well, this specimen comes with a surely healthy 500 horsepower V10 mated to a 7 speed transmission that I'm sure is still in factory fresh condition. Admittedly, the bodywork and interior both look good for such a high mileage car, and the tires even appear to have some amount of tread on them.
Look at that leather. There's certainly some where, but I don't see any major cracks. At this level of depreciation, I'm honestly surprised it has both seats installed. They just look so comfortable to the point where I wouldn't mind sitting back and relaxing while I wait for the tow truck to come for our monthly breakdown ritual.
See that paint? It has paint! For 9% of the BMW's original value, getting any paint is an added bonus. There may even be some clear coat on top of that paint, but let's not get our hopes up.
$8900 for such an amazing machine is a truly mind blowing deal. Will the car be fast? Yes! Will you be able to have a modern M car without breaking the bank on day one? Yes! Will it be a smart decision and a reliable car? Ye- well....
