You Won't Believe The Reason Why This McLaren P1 Is Wrecked!

1y ago

The owner of this McLaren P1 will not be happy when they find out what happened to their price possession! Powered by a twin-turbo 3.8L V8, the P1 produces 903BHP, a 0-60MPH time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed limited to 217MPH.

Believe it or not, this P1 wasn't even driving on the road when the accident happened. The car was being transported in the back of a truck in Cambodia, when the vehicle transporting the hypercar was hit by another truck. The contact must've been in the load area of the truck, as the front of the P1 was severely damaged, the rear however remains to be undamaged.

With just 375 units made of the P1, here's to hoping the guys at Woking can repair it to get it back on the road!

  • Sadly not a buff out job, that's gonna be an 'original P1' in triggers broom form post McLaren factory repair bit like Rowan Atkinsons F1. Basically McLaren can build owners another to replace it assuming the pockets are deep enough still or insurance is covering it
