  • If I’m driving casually, I just use the right foot. If I’m racing on the simulator, definitely left foot.

    • I agree ... Sim racing where you need instant throttle/break control and minor inputs makes sense to do it ... for some reason though I prefer that only when using F1 or other similar monsters

  • I’ve decided I’d try to learn to use my left foot this week it’s been not too bad but then it’s also been lethal 😅

My dad is good at using both feet going between manual and auto every week

  • I don’t think I’d go to semi-auto tbh. Although for the purpose of the question, at low speeds I’d brake with my left food, and at higher speeds probably right

    • “Semi auto” being DSG, that’s what my car comes under on the registration documents

I’ve started trying to left foot brake…. It’s quite tricky haha

    • Fair enough!! I don’t think I’d like DSG personally, I’d just end up leaving it in auto

  • Right foot it is ... I tried left foot once after seeing a friend do it as his normal driving ... didn't end so nicely 😂

  • I've always done left foot braking with automatics. 43 years + or ‐
