YouTuber Salomondrin Street Races On Public Roads With One Hand - Stupid?
Vlogging, as I'm sure you know, is a massive thing on YouTube. It covers all sorts of genres from fashion to, you guessed it, motoring. Salomondrin is one of these vloggers, with a following of almost 700,000 people on YouTube.
He started his channel revolving around his vast array of expensive and luxurious cars ranging from widebody Dodges to a Porsche 918. Since then, he's caught on to the popularity of vlogging (and the easy revenue) and has since moved his channel away from cars and more onto his everyday life.
A few days ago, Reddit scooped up a video of him being, for want of a better word, a dick. In a McLaren 720s, on a public street teaming with other cars and pedestrians, he drag raced a supercharged Lamborghini Huracan owned by another YouTuber under the name of Vehicle Virgins. Both cars reached high speeds - speeds that are certainly above the legal speed limit.
There seems to be an idea that YouTubers can push legal boundaries to get a 'good' video. This is obviously stupid, and the behaviour that is seen in this video should not be applauded.
Overall the video had a neutral reception from his followers, with only a few negative comments like the following:
So guys, what do we think? Stupid, or just a stunt to get a good video? Maybe he made enough money from that video to fund a race at a drag strip next time? Let me know in the comments below.
