Got a parts question. Would changing my fuel pump for an up-rated one cause any issues on an otherwise stock system?

I've got to swap my fuel tank and it's a pain in the ass on my car so its a great chance to upgrade the pump for later mods if it won't cause any issues in the mean time.

hiya chat, getting the lay of the land and trying to get some perspective asap. went looking at cars, getting something new for the fam (two little ones) but that I can feel connected to while driving. Wife likes the VW Magotan (we live in China, that would be the PASSAT everywhere else I believe) but didn't feel the steering at all and it felt overall fancy but boring.

I got interested in the 2021 Skoda Octavia. Here they are selling it as the Octavia PRO, it has some of the vRS features. But after going twice to the dealership and talking to my wife, we did come up with loads of Octavia Mk4 owners with lots of gripes about their software issues and even features failing badly (lane assist, for one, doesn't sound like a fun fail)

Now I'm going back to the drawing board, trying to find an exciting, powerful, smooth-when-the-fam-is-in but quick-and-grippy-when-it's-just-me 2020 or 2021 model. Any thoughts?
