Have you ever taken a good look at your city/town an seen old cars left to rust away? At one point in their lives they were an essential car to the heart and soul of a particular automotive company. In this case, this is a 1973 Dodge Charger. It's was parked 18 years ago in this driveway and never saw the road again. I remember when I was young seeing this HEMI orange car shimmer in the light with its gleaming chrome rims. It has a 440 Magnum V8, and a manual gearbox. It was a true classic American muscle car and now it rots away. It's a shame to say the least but lets hope one day this car will reunite with the road once again and fufill the task that it was bred for, one 1/4 mile at a time.

Well I'd say your first problem would be that you are in a Dodge Caliber. However, it may be time to change your brake master cylinder. I would suggest checking all the lines as road salt will corrode them over time if not protected by an oil gel spray or some other type of cover. Warped rotors can also lead to brake failure along with unwanted vibration and noise. Many things can be wrong here. However, Dodge Calibers were known to have brake servicing issues.

Thanks David I've since got rid of it to the local breakers as it had many other faults including terminal rust below. I have 2 dvd players which were built into the headrests if anyone is interested and lots of brand new Dodge stuff including badges front and rear centre wheel caps etc etc bought in anticipation of keeping the Caliber. Open to offers on here if anyone is interested

I removed the headrests with the built in DVD players before I scrapped the car so they will check fit other Dodges I think. Reasonable offers considered for them and the new parts.
