Bought my slk 2.3 new in 1998. Quick and beautiful it still is something special to drive. The folding metal top is a dream. Spares are easily available either new or second hand. Would be wary buying second hand one without expert advice, as the car is quite complex and not for the diy services. Checking all my bills for running the car show’s it has cost me £18000 without fuel. 09/02/2020
THis car is a classic at 22 years old and 82000 miles. I have a trusty mercedes team that has looked after the car for many years.

I’ve had it for 10 years now. I was single for 25, and gave up. Then I was fixed up on a blind date with a recent widower, who had 2 Mercedes-Benz’s. (Now we have 3.)
He had signed up to go to the Mercedes Benz tour in Stuttgart, and asked me if I wanted to go along! It became our honeymoon! 💕
