So my mini is a retired rally car, and I'm restoring it to full glory. I'm thinking of an engine swap combined with pushing back the firewall/dash/front seats to allow for the space to procharge while preventing excessiveheat soak. I'm stuck between pulling from a newer civic or the sport trim focus. Either will get me 300ish hp before tuning/modification. What do you guys think?

I'm thinking the civic engine is likely to maintain Honda's tradition of easily serviceable engines, but I can't say for sure.

Hi, so I've been looking at Mini Cooper D R60 Countryman from 2011. And I really liked it but since I've never known anyone driving a Mini or owned a Mini myself, I don't have much experience. So what I'm wondering is, if there's some common problems with the car and about repairs? Is it a safe car to buy? Any information is appreciated :)
