Lamborghini Gallardo stops on pavement next to a person at a bar
I was on YouTube today and saw a clip from 2018 on a channel called south China Morning post where they showed a clip of someone’s Lamborghini Gallardo rolling down a hill in China driverless and stopped on the pavement at a bar about a metre away from a table with someone sitting at it (must not have liked it’s parking spot) this clipped baffles me at first I thought It would be set up by the YouTube channel but I think the driver of the Gallardo forgot to set the handbrake because no one would put multiple members of the public at risk for a video. When I worked out that the most likely reason for this unfortunate set of events was probably because of someone not setting their handbrake I was pretty annoyed because he owns a Lamborghini Gallardo a favourite of the Lamborghini range for us car people and yet here is someone who is being so careless with their car as if it was a toothpick where you just dispose and get another one which Is why I don’t think this person should be driving because he is just so careless and people like that should stick to public transport and not clog up the roads for when us car people who enjoy driving actually want to enjoy our car without having to worry if there is going to be a driverless car coming our way.
I know that somepeople people who are going to disagree with my logic but I think it’s fair because if you cared about cars and driving then you wouldn’t forget something as simple as using a handbrake and putting your car in neutral. Another factor that you have to consider is public safety because if you let people like this drive on the road then you would have to be okay with more car collisions with pedestrians. I know that not every day there is going to be a run away car but I think that if we can get these drivers off the road then in some country’s there will be fewer pedestrian collisions and it frees up the road for us petrolheads.
I am going to conclude my rant by asking a question. Do you think drivers like this should be able to own a car or should they take the bus? Take a look at the video and Let me know in the comments.
