Hey guys. I am looking to buy a Toyota MR2 1994. Is there anything specific I should be looking for and where to expect to find rust?06/04/2020

Just bought a 2008 yaris, any quick mods you recommend?08/04/2020

what kinda yaris? any old run of the mill yaris isn't something people typically mod so you might have a hard time sourcing parts that would do much of anything.08/04/2020

to the best of my knowledge, the '08 yaris wasn't quite the sporty little pocket rocket that it is today. if you have a performance model yaris, which i believe is still naturally aspirated, there's a few things one could do. get higher flowing exhaust system (E.G. muffler, resonator and catalytic converter complete delete for max flow, or just find higher flow variants of said parts to keep it legal) you could get a cool air intake, which NA motors like, because that cold air is much more dense and therefore fits more air into the explosion.08/04/2020

the name of the NA game is air flow. more air in = bigger blast = more power. the more it flow the faster it go, in other words. body mods and all that jazz can come afterwards. 08/04/2020

for example, in my '00 Celica, on it's 2ZZ-GE, i have an aftermarket intake manifold, cold air intake, and an aftermarket catback exhaust system. all of which are to help it's airflow. it has other mods too, but they aren't quite so much for power.08/04/2020

now, if you want style mods, you can change it's suspension and get that thing lowered (i currently have coilover suspension, lower than the average celica) and some aftermarket body kit that came with it from the guy i bought it from. for a yaris of '08, i'm not sure what there is, but im sure there's something. pretty sure thats an internet rule or something "if it exists there is a ____ for it"08/04/2020

The worst part is the brakes so maybe ill upgrade those first, i at least have the 1.4 D4D turbo so maybe a cold air intake and a tune.08/04/2020

unfortunately, modding a diesel for actual power numbers is much more expensive and difficult, in that the systems work different than a petrol engine. yours would output but-loads more torque, as a diesel engine does, rather than raw HP output. to increase the raw power, i would say... your best bet is bigger turbo, injector upgrade and maybe straight pipe it (minus the catalytic converter, unless you intend to roll coal on gretta thunberg's meetings)09/04/2020

you should have bought GR Yaris RZ Performance Edition, 280HP for a 3cyl cat02/05/2020

so, who else is displeased with toyota not scrapping the 86 in favour of...say, the MR2 or Celica. i myself would rather see one of them return over another model year of the 86.26/06/2020

i have myself a 2015 yaris hybrid as i live in London now, as the misses needs a auto it made sense, but its not really a car that i would choose to own, after having subarus, bmws etc in the past what can i do in terms of light modifications i can do just so it doesn't feel as stock or generic, all i can really think of is pressed plates, change of wheels... would mini wheels fit on fine i know they are 4x100 but would it be that simple? upgrade bulbs etc 09/07/2020
